Westbrook is a Victorian seaside resort on the Thanet peninsula in the southeast corner of England. It is part of the ribbon development of the north Kent coast between Westgate-on-Sea to the west and Margate to the east.
It is approximately 200 metres long with safe shallow bathing conditions. The former Seabathing Hospital overlooks the bay as it was felt that fresh air and salt water was extremely beneficial for promoting good health.
Margate Westbrook Bay is adjacent to the Kent Coastline Walk and the Viking Coastal Trail.
