I as lucky enough to have had the opportunity to video a local fireworks display, a display that has been running for many years. Set in the grounds of Quex Park.

Quex Park itself is 250 acres of parkland and gardens plus a further 1500 acres of farmed land, with Quex House and other buildings situated just south-east from Birchington-on-Sea in Kent, England. It houses the Powell-Cotton Museum, and the Waterloo tower, a secular bell tower.

Being November the weather can be at least unpredictable and today, the 2nd November was such a day with gales in the English Channel, 50 Knot winds battering the coast.

Met Office warnings are in place for wind and rain in southwest England and Wales up until 6pm today and heavy rain until midday in north-east Scotland.

Up to 40mm of rainfall could fall on Saturday in north-east Scotland and around 60 to 80mm on higher ground. In the south west and south wales, up to 40mm of rain is expected in mainland areas and between 60 to 80mm on moorland.

Luckily though the winds started to ease back and by 18:00hrs it was calm enough to be able to lunch the drone.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
