Dungeness – A beautiful collection of prints by David Townsend Landscape photographer.
Dungeness the desert of England, though experts observe that, lacking both the dearth of water and the extreme differential in night and day temperatures, it fulfils none of the desert criteria.
A broad, echoing flatness with the famous nuclear power station on one side, the shingle dipping into the sea on the other; railway carriages turned into quaint and spooky dwellings; post-apocalyptic architecture alongside.
There is only you and your camera. The limitations is your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.
